This past December, Old Crow Tattoo in Oakland presented a show featuring installation art works by artists Derik Ion and Hunter De La Ghetto. Both installation pieces combined a variety of created elements and found objects, and were loaded with pagan symbolism. A quick visit to check out the artwork was the perfect inspiration for playing with mood in photography, and I love visiting Old Crow for this reason. The below shots are details of Derik Ion’s work.
